EYE LUBRICANT - OPHTHALMIC USES: This medication is used to relieve dry, irirtated eyes. HOW TO USE: Use this medictaion in the eye as directed.

To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands frist. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropepr or top of the ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyeild to make a pouch. For drops, place the dropper direclty over the eye and administer the prescribed number of drops. Look downward and gently clsoe your eye for 1 to 2 minutes.

Place one finger at the corner of the eye near the nose and apply gentle pressure. This will prevent the medication from draniing away from the eye. For ointment, hold the tube directly over the eye and gently squeeze a small ribbon of the ointment into the eye.

Slowly roll your eye in all directions to spread the ointment.
Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. Do not rinse the dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using ohter eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sting your eyes when fisrt applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome or the condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within sevreal days, inform your doctor.
Vision may be temporarily unstable for a few minutes after applying this.
Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your docotr if you develop: a skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharamcist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, any alelrgies.

Tell your dotcor if you are pregnant before using this drug.

Though, to date, no troubels have been noted in nursing infants, consult your doctor before you breast-feed.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, especially of: other eye medication. Do not start or stop any medicine without dotcor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
This mediicne may be harmful if swallowed. NOTES: Some products contain preservatives which may cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss the various products with your health care profesisonal.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the msised dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.

Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature betewen 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat.
Discard this if the solution is not clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.]]>
